Neuromuscular Therapy and More

Stan Brown and Tracy Maxfield are certified Neuromuscular Therapists.  Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is used to examine the soft tissues of the body and to evaluate their involvement in acute injuries, chronic pain patterns or dysfunctional patterns of use. NMT has as its base, a series of routines that examine the muscles, tendons and ligaments (soft tissues) of a particular body region. NMT treatment often successfully reduces or eliminates common pain.

Neuromuscular therapy services can be provided without a physician order. NPRC does not file insurance claims for this service however receipts can be provided for submission to your HSA or for annual tax preparation. Payment is due at the time of your visit. Other modalities are used and work well with Neuromuscular therapy for optimal results.

Some conditions that have been successfully treated with NMT include: Fibromyalgia Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, IT Band Syndrome, chronic headaches, frozen shoulder, knee pain, low back pain, neck, back, hip pain, Piriformis Syndrome Plantar Fascitis, repetitive-use injuries, sciatica, tendonitis, TMJ Syndrome, whiplash, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow and rotator cuff.
